Constellations by Nick Payne explores the infinite possibilities of life, love, and human connection through the lens of parallel universes.
At its heart, the play follows the evolving relationship between two individuals, whose bond shifts and deepens across countless timelines. As they meet, separate, and reconnect, each encounter unfolds in vastly different ways. Sometimes filled with love and openness, other times marked by misunderstandings, silence, or emotional walls.
These variations highlight the fragility of human connection, where even the smallest moment of vulnerability or hesitation can change the course of their interaction.

Terminal 8 is Micah, Cecilia, and Robin—where script and design spark to share stories and make theater.
Robin saw one of Micah's shows. Micah needed a scenographer. Robin knew Cecilia from their master's program. One video call led to coffee, where we swapped roles, wishes, experiences… and picked a script. The roles fit. Over beers and snacks, we bonded over favorite movies and poked fun at each others video game tastes. Now the people fit too.
As a trio of multi-disciplinary artists, we're exploring a process where story and design ignite together from the very start. We're drawn to bold, boundary-pushing work that remains grounded in real human stories. By blending a modern approach to design with script-led storytelling, we aim to bring these stories to life in fresh, powerful ways. This is only the beginning.
